基础英语(一)        

主要内容:重点是传授有关语音、语调和语法基本知识,培养正确使用最常用的词、词组和句型的能力,注重听说,但不忽视读写。学生所掌握的新词汇量为500600词左右;应能听懂简单的日常生活和教学用语,能回答有关对话及课文的问题;能读懂所学词汇及语法范围内的浅易故事或短文;能用所学词汇组词造句,无重大语法错误。

Basic English (I)    

Content: The course introduces some basic knowledge of phonetics and grammar. The course trains the students the basic capabilities of using words, phrases and sentences. The students should grasp 500-600 new words. The students can answer the questions in the texts. The students can make sentences with the phrases appearing in the texts without big grammar mistakes.

基础英语(二)    

主要内容:要求学生在掌握基本语音、语法的基础上,进一步扩大词汇量,提高综合运用语言的能力,特别是用英语进行实际交际的能力。在继续进行听说训练的同时,要加强读写训练,初步掌握阅读技巧。学生所掌握的新词汇量为600800词左右;应能听懂日常生活用语并进行简单对话;读懂所学词汇及语法范围内的故事及短文;能用所学词汇连句成段,语法基本正确。

Basic English (II)  

Content: On the basis of grasping phonetics and grammar, the students are required to further enlarge their vocabularies. The students should grasp 600-800 new words. The course strengthens students’ reading, writing, listening and speaking capabilities. The students can make some simple daily conversations.

基础英语(三)          

主要内容:应能比较系统地掌握和运用语音、语法知识;学生所掌握的新词汇量为8001000单词左右;进一步提高阅读技巧,能用所学的词汇和语法知识阅读浅易材料和简易读物(阅读速度为每分钟5070个词),能够进行简单的日常生活中的口、笔语交际活动,并初步具备借助工具书阅读和翻译浅易英文资料的能力。

Basic English (III) 

Content: The students should grasp phonetics and grammar knowledge. The students should grasp 800-1000 new vocabularies. Their reading level should is to be improved. They can read some English books with the help of their knowledge. Their reading speed should is to be 50-70/min. They can make some daily conversation and translate some English materials with the help of dictionaries.

基础英语(四)          

主要内容:在上述基础上,通过听、说、读、写的实践,培养学生具有较扎实的英语语言基础和较强的英语综合运用能力,使学生初步掌握运用英语进行交际的能力,通过四级统考,为学生学习专业英语打下坚实的基础。

Basic English (IV)    

Content: By practicing in listening, speaking, reading and writing, the students are solid in basic-English language knowledge. The students grasp preliminarily English communication skills. After learning, the students should pass TEM 4.

高级英语(一)        

主要内容:在两年基础英语的学习之后,通过听、说、读、写、译五种技能的综合训练,提高学生的听觉会意能力;提高即席发言,连贯表达、辩论、演讲的技巧与能力;使学生掌握中等难度英语原文著作的阅读技巧,提高阅读速度,扩大词汇量;使学生初步掌握各种文章的写作能力。

Advanced English (I)  

Content: The target of the course is to help the students to improve their comprehensive capabilities. The students can improve their reading speed and vocabularies after learning. The students’ capabilities of cohesive expression, impromptu speech, discussion and debate can be improved. The students grasp preliminarily writing skills for different English articles.

高级英语(二)        

主要内容:词汇、修辞、阅读等方面的内容,培养词义辨析能力,提高归纳总结等能力,在巩固和提高学生原有知识的同时,讲授修辞的基本知识,以培养学生的初步的文体欣赏能力,英语写作文体的思维方式,英语应用文简介及写作方法。

Advanced English (II)      

Content: Besides strengthening the acquired knowledge, the course introduces some rhetoric skills. Through these basic skills, the students can appreciate English articles of different genres. The course introduces practical writing ways too.

英语口语(一)   

主要内容:本课程的教学目的在于提高学生的英语口头表达能力。通过本课程的教学,学生能运用掌握的英语准确、清楚地表达自己的思想,能准确掌握诸如询问、请求、建议、忠告等交际方法,树立学生主动开口讲英语的信心,培养学生讲英语的热情和兴趣,最终达到在英语口头表达方面准确与流利的结合。口语教学围绕功能和主题开展技能训练,课堂活动采用多种形式,如问答、复述、描述、情景对话、看图说话、讲故事等。学生应完成指定的材料训练,并积极参加院系组织的英语课外活动。

Oral English (I)      

Content: The course aims at improving the students’ speaking ability. By studying, the students know how to express their ideas and thoughts clearly and correctly. The course teaches the students how to ask, require, suggest advice etc. The course helps arouse the students’ interest in and confidence of learning English. The course encourages the students to take part in various English activities after class.

英语口语(二)       

主要内容:本课程的教学目的在于进一步提高学生的英语口头表达能力。通过本课程的教学,学生能自如地运用英语进行交流,能运用交际策略达到交际目的,使学生能在不同的场合与不同的人用恰当、得体的语言形式进行交际。口语教学围绕功能和主题开展技能训练,课堂活动采用多种形式,如描述、情景对话、看图说话、讲故事、口头作文、现场讨论、模拟新闻发布会、辩论等。学生应完成指定的材料训练,并积极参加院系组织的英语课外活动。

Oral English (II)   

Content: The course hopes to further improve the students’ speaking and communication skills. The course helps the students know how to use suitable words in the suitable places. The course adopts many approaches to encourage students to speak in the class, such as description, discussion and debate etc.

英语听力(一)      

主要内容:本课程以训练学生的基本听力技能为主,包括对语音、单词和句子结构的辨认以及对数字、时间等的训练,和短小对话及篇幅较短的理解性材料的训练,帮助学生初步克服听力理解上的障碍,听懂英语国家一般社交场合的交谈和相当于中等难度的听力材料,要求能够理解大意,抓住主要论点和情节,能根据所听材料进行分析、领会说话人的态度和真实意图。

English Listening (I)    

Content: The course trains the students’ listening skills. The course helps the students to overcome the listening obstacles by listening to phonetics, numbers, time, words, sentences and articles etc. The course requires the students to understand the speakers’ attitudes, meanings and purposes.

英语听力(二)   

主要内容:本课程的目的在于提高学生对语言真实度较高的各类视听材料的理解能力和口头表达能力。通过视、听、说的结合,以直观画面和情节内容为基础开展有针对性的听力和口语训练,通过复述、总结、对话、口头概述、即席演讲等训练形式,提高学生的听力理解和口头表达能力,加深他们对英语国家的政治、经济、文化等方面的认识和了解。在本课程结束时,学生应能听懂美国之音(正常速度)和英国国际新闻的主要内容,能用英语记录所听材料的要点。

English Listening (II)     

Content: The target of the course is to help the students to improve their comprehension to different audio-visual materials. Combination of listening, retelling, dialogue and impromptu speech can improve the students listening and speaking. Meanwhile, the students can learn more about English countries. After the course, the students can understand and make notes of VOA (standard).

英语听力(三) 

主要内容:本课程的目的是在基本听力技能的基础上进一步提高学生的综合听力技能。培养学生快速抓住各种录音材料的要旨,加强学生对正常语速新闻报道的听力训练,使其了解新闻英语的特点及新闻报道的特征,引导学生将时事知识与新闻听力理解相互贯通。通过本课程,学生应具备更加熟练地用英语记录录音材料的能力,并要求学生能听懂学术报告及对所听内容进行有效吸收。

English Listening (III) 

Content: The target of the course is to improve the students’ comprehensive listening skills based on the basic skills they have acquired. The students will be trained the ability to get the gist of whatever material they hear. The students are supposed to understand the native-speed news broadcast on VOA, BBC and other native English broadcast. Moreover, they should learn more about the current issues, which is of great help for them to understand the news items. More practice is given to the students to improve their skills of taking notes in English. The students are also expected to understand academic lectures which involve terminologies of different specialties.

英语听力(四) 

主要内容:本课程属于高级英语学习阶段。要求学生已具备相当的听力技能。学生应该能听懂各种内容及体裁的录音材料,并对所听内容进行口头评论和展开深度讨论。除此之外,学生应接触带有不同个人及国籍口音的英语,利用已掌握的语言和文化背景知识及听力技巧克服口音造成的理解困难。

English Listening (IV)  

Content: This course is for advanced English learners who should have little difficulty in English listening comprehension. The students are required to have strong communicative skills based on what they hear and can successfully carry out discussions and debates when necessary. In addition, English with different personal and national accent is given to the students who are supposed to overcome this accent challenge with the help of their acquired language and cultural knowledge.

英语泛读(一)  

主要内容:本课程选材内容新颖、题材广泛、体裁多样、知识性和趣味性并重,在难度上由浅入深。本课程通过大量的阅读训练,旨在提高学生的阅读理解能力,培养学生速读的能力和阅读的兴趣,养成良好的阅读习惯,扩大学生的词汇量,增加文化背景知识。

English Extensive reading (I) 

Content: The target of the course is to train students’ reading interests. By reading many various English articles, the students can enlarge their vocabularies and broaden cultural background knowledge. Meanwhile, their reading comprehension can be improved.

英语泛读(二)  

主要内容:本课程在英语泛读(一)的基础上,选用题材广泛的语言材料,适当增加有关商务英语方面的文章,引导学生熟练地掌握英语文章的结构布局、文本修辞、语言技巧以及商务英语方面基本词汇、常用术语等,提高单位时间的阅读速度。

English Extensive reading (II) 

Content: The course introduces the styles of English articles. The course helps the students to learn and grasp new words and the structure of the English articles. By practicing, the students can improve their reading speed.

商务英语(一)       

主要内容:本课程是按照当前国际上最流行的英语教学法交际法教学原则进行教学的商务英语课程,涉及当今国际商务的主要领域:国际贸易、国际营销、国际投资等,注重培养学生在对外经贸氛围中听、说、读、写的基本技能,为进一步提高在商务领域的英语交际能力打下基础。

Business English (I)     

Content: The course uses the most popular teaching method of the world to teach students. The course covers international trade, marketing, international investments. The course helps the students know how to communicate in the atmosphere of foreign trade.

商务英语(二)   

主要内容:本课程是在商务英语(一)的基础上,把语言训练和商务知识进一步结合,在语言方面容纳更多词汇,商务方面涉及公司具体业务:多国公司业务、公司资本运营、人力资源管理等,全面提高学生在对外经贸氛围中听、说、读、写的技能。

Business English (II)     

Content: The course gives the students more business words on the basis of Business English I. The course hopes to completely polish the student’s business English level. The course introduces many practices in business such as Operation of Corporation Capital, Human Resources Managing etc.

日语(I)(专业类)    

主要内容:本课程重点培养学生正确的语音语调,同时传授日语基础知识,进行语言基本技能的训练。以听、说训练为主,使学生具有日常阅读的能力。

Second Foreign Language (Japanese) (I) 

Content: The target of the second language is to broaden the students’ vision. The course trains the students the basic language skills of Japanese.

日语(II)(专业类)

主要内容:本课程主要传授日语知识,进行语言基本技能的训练,使学生具备较扎实的听、

说、读、写的基础,适当介绍日本的文化、风俗、习惯,扩大知识面。

Second Foreign Language (Japanese) (II)

Content: The target of the second language is to broaden the students’ vision. The course trains the students the basic language skills of Japanese.

翻译理论与实践            

主要内容:本课程主要讲授英语翻译的基本理论和常用的翻译技巧,通过反复实践,培养学生的英译汉与汉译英的技能。在选材上,除了一般通用性的文字材料,还选用实用性较强的外经贸和国际商务领域的材料,要求学生在理解原文的基础上,能正确、流畅地进行英汉对译。

Translation Theory and Practice 

Content: The course is to give students some lectures on translation skills. By practicing, the students can improve their translation skills. In order to guarantee the quality, the textbooks are carefully selected. Students have some materials about international trade and they are required to make correct and smooth translation.

口译              

主要内容:通过听力和口语课的训练之后,学生已具备听说的技能,在这阶段主要引导学生踏入口译领域,通过模拟翻译练习,提高口译的速度与准确性。

English Interpretation    

Content: The students have certain speaking and listening skills after they finish listening and speaking courses. In this phase, we teach the students how to improve the speed and accuracy of interpretation by practice.

英美文学史      

主要内容:本课程介绍英美文学史上各主要时期的重要文学思潮、流派、理论及其代表作家与代表作品。通过学习英美文学史来帮助学生广泛地了解英国和美国的历史,社会和文化,培养适合我国社会主义经济建设所需要的从事教育,翻译,外交等各方面的人才。

History of British and American Literature

ContentThis course introduces the important literary trendsgenrestheories and the masterpieces of the famous writers of different periods in British and American literary history. It will help the students to have a better understanding of British and American history, society and culture and cultivate talents who can satisfy the needs of our country in socialist economic construction.

英美文学选读   

主要内容:本课程主要介绍英美文学发展的几个重要阶段,主要的作家、作品,重要的文学思想,流派,通过阅读原著节选,使学生对英美文学的全貌有较系统的了解。

Selections of British and American Literature

ContentThis course introduces the important periods in the development of British and American literature. By reading some of the excerpts of literary works of the famous writers, students will form a general view about British and American literature.

英语词汇学      

主要内容:本课程介绍英语词汇学的基本概念和基本知识,帮助学生理解英语词汇的发展历史和现状,分析词汇结构,了解不同的构词方法,判定词与词之间的语义关系,理解词汇在语篇中的语义和语用特征。

English Lexicology 

Content: This course is an introduction to basic concepts and knowledge of English lexicology. It aims to help students understand the evolution and the present situation of English words, analyze word structures, know the various ways of word-formation, identify different relations between words, and understand the semantic and pragmatic features of words in discourse.

语言学概论              

主要内容:本课程介绍普通语言学研究的不同方面,如语言的性质、音位学、形态学、句法学、语义学、语用学、语言与社会文化的关系、语言习得等,旨在帮助学生理解语言学的一些基本理论和概念,培养学生的语言意识,发展其理性思维。

An Introduction to English Linguistics

Content: This course is an introduction of the different aspects of general linguistics such as nature of language, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, the relationship between language and society and culture, language acquisition and so on. It aims to help students understand basic concepts in and basic theories of modern linguistics, foster students’ linguistic consciousness, and develop their rational thinking.

英语应用文写作          

主要内容:本课程通过英语应用文阅读和写作的训练,使学生熟悉英语应用文的语言特点、篇章结构及基本格式,掌握一些常见应用文文体(如便条、信函、通知、简历等)的写作方法。

English Practical Writing  

Content: This course aims to acquaint students with features of practical English writing, its structure and format by means of training in practical English reading and writing, and to improve students’ skills in writing practical English, such as notes, letters, CV, etc.
